We are a community-inspired initiative to help low-income families during the Christmas holidays. HCM aims to give out 1000 hampers every Christmas and has done this for over 4 years. In 2023, HCM gave out £10,000 worth of Supermarket vouchers to low-income families in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
To achieve this aim annually, we work with LBBD and Dagenham Library and Community Hub. We also work with some local VCSEs such as Pennu Charity, Somali Women’s Charity, HumDum Organisation, and some local churches.
