HCM is the host to the annual Family Fun Day , which is a free event every summer, bringing together over a thousand residents in and around the Valence Ward with free food, games, live music, health checks, and a chance for fellowship. This popular event has helped to foster cohesion in the community. It is well attended over the years by residents and elected councillors alike.
